The foundation that builds the solid bond. Puppy obedience is the building blocks to everything you want to do with your dog. We believe that our program sets you and your dog on the right path to achieve the goals you want. We start with positive rewards to encourage your dog to create the idea in their own mind to sit, recall, and the place command. When they believe that they came up with that idea, they are bought in to the command. Then we over lay reenforcement to grow the confidence to do the right thing because they know what to do.
Puppy Obedience
Our Puppy Training begins right when they get home. They start to learn how to learn. At this stage it is all about positivity and rewarding for the things you want to see later in life. We schedule the day around the dogs, when they wake up and when they eat, making them work for their food, frequent bathroom breaks, and mixing fun puppy training games. All this builds toward the end goal of a happy, healthy, confident dog.
Formal Obedience
Formal obedience starts around 6 months of age. They stay at our kennel a few weeks to create consistency and good habits. So when they move on from the program they bring with them puppy energy but under control. It's a controlled chaos because puppies do puppy things. They will learn Sit, a solid Recall, be steady on Place, and comfortable walking on leash.
Puppy Training
We all have had a mentor in some fashion of our life. Our program is to be the mentor to your dog. Showing them the things they need to know to be safe and confident when they are adults.
